AmeriChem Innovator of the Year: Solving What Others Couldn’t
AmeriChem Innovator of the Year isn’t just a title, it’s proof that the team at AmeriChem Systems builds more than equipment. They build answers to problems no one else can solve.
Named 2025 Innovator of the Year by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA), AmeriChem earned the award by designing and patenting a first-of-its-kind system in the beverage industry. But their path to innovation wasn’t a straight line. It was built on collaboration, listening, and persistence.
The Problem No One Could Solve
A major beverage company had a challenge: how to detect when critical components inside a beverage filler machine get dislodged without shutting down operations or changing equipment.
AmeriChem took the call and built a solution no one else could.
Using creative system design and a deep understanding of the process, AmeriChem developed a custom, high-performance RFID detection system and embedded RFID technologies into existing beverage filler equipment. The innovation became so effective that they secured a U.S. patent.
Innovation Starts with Listening
For AmeriChem, innovation doesn’t start with brainstorming, it starts with listening.
“We asked what was wrong. What they had tried. What had failed,” said Michael Perry, National Sales Manager. “That gave us a starting point.”
AmeriChem Innovator of the Year recognition came not from theory, but from solving real-world problems through close collaboration and empathy for the end user.
Team-Driven, Not Top-Down
The award didn’t go to one person. It went to a culture.
AmeriChem’s innovation is powered by a team-first mindset. Ideas come from everywhere, engineering, production, even field techs. They hold regular cross-functional meetings and encourage open feedback at every stage of a build.
“Everyone has a voice,” said Perry. “We solve better when we solve together.”
AmeriChem Innovator of the Year: Why This Award Matters
Being named AmeriChem Innovator of the Year by IMA means more than industry praise. It tells current and future clients that AmeriChem can handle complexity, change, and new ideas.
In a field where many vendors stick to what’s safe, AmeriChem leads by asking, “What if we could make this better?”
A Partner for Innovation-Driven Projects
If your process challenge feels too unique or too complex, that’s where AmeriChem thrives. They’ve proven that custom engineering can drive not just function, but transformation.
AmeriChem Innovator of the Year isn’t just an award. It’s an invitation to work with a team that listens, collaborates, and builds what others won’t.
