The Filler Vent Tube Reader and accompanying high speed RFID products increase safety at time of fill and improve productivity on your beverage filler.
Filler Vent Tube Reader
The Enpro Filler Vent Tube Reader is a high speed RFID reader that records each RFID tag present in the filler vent tubes, filler tips, or traceable ball cages in real-time during the filling process at up to 2,900 cans per minute. The Filler Vent Tube Reader (system) ensures comprehensive tracking and verification throughout operation. The filler Vent Tube Reader System features an interactive touch screen control panel with an intuitive operating system.
If a vent tube, filler tip, or ball cage is missing, the FVTR system immediately signals the filler PLC to stop the can gate, allowing the system to run out the cans on the filler and isolate the quarantined cans on the exit conveyors — before they reach the can warmer. This automated process enables operators and quality teams to quickly identify the missing high speed RFID component (shown on the touch screen display) within the quarantined section, reducing downtime and minimizing the need for product holds or destruction.

Traceable Vent Tube & Traceable Ball Cage
The Enpro Traceable Vent Tube (TVT) and Traceable Ball Cage (TBC) are patented high speed RFID traceable elements for the filling process.
When the TVT and TBC are used in conjunction with the Enpro Filler Vent Tube Reader (FVTR) all ball cage malfunctions are instantly detected.
The TVT and TBC use passive technology to communicate data, provide traceability, detect malfunctions, and other custom information to the Filler Vent Tube Reader.
Both the high speed RFID Traceable Vent Tube and the high speed RFID Traceable Ball Cage are constructed from food contact grade materials and designed for superior durability.

The Enpro FVTRP-QCT QC Vent Tube Strength Tester is a portable hard case testing station built to quality test the custom high speed RFID chip set of a traceable vent tube or traceable ball cage with PC based management software that allows for specific levels of Vent Tube Strength measurable and displayable for each Vent Tube.
